Will 35-inch tires fit a stock Gladiator?
Fitment answer · Updated October 27, 2026
Short answer
It depends on trim. A Rubicon or Mojave fits 35s from the factory (Rubicons ship on 33s with 35-ready clearance and the Xtreme Recon even ships on 35s). Sport and Overland trucks on stock suspension usually rub at full lock and flex; a leveling kit or 2-inch lift is the common fix.

What you usually need
- On Sport/Overland: a leveling kit or 2-inch lift.
- Wheels with about 4.5–5-inch backspacing.
- Bump stop extensions if you flex hard off-road.
Regearing
35s often work on 4.10 gears; 3.73 trucks that tow may want 4.56s. Compare ratios in the Tire & Gear Calculator before you buy gears.
